Silversmith Full Grain Leather Boot

I've had my boots for about 2.5 months now, and am so happy I bit the bullet and bought them. Per the other reviews, I initially purchased a women's 8M and 8W, as others indicated they ran narrow. However, even with my flat feet, I ended up sticking with the 8M, as the 8W were all-around too big. This is to say, in my case, the boots are TTS. The leather is sturdy but you can break it in, it just takes time! I also purchased a few pairs of colored boot laces to switch up the look when I want. Overall, love!

I’ve had these boots for over a month now, and wear them daily. I’m really torn on how many stars to give them in this review, because while do really love them, there is a flaw that I don’t feel aligns with the reputation of the company, or the price that they’re selling. Others seem to have this problem as well, yet these boots with obvious flaws are still somehow passing inspection and being sent to customers. The speed hooks in one of my boots are noticeably off on one side. Is this a huge issue for me overall? No. Once I lace the boots up, it’s hard to tell, and no one is down on the ground examining them that closely. But it’s definitely worth mentioning to customers who are considering purchasing these. That said, I love the color, fit, and design, and have received so many compliments on them already. For others like me who have been searching for this style of boot for decades to no avail, perhaps the possibility of crooked speed hooks will be worth the risk. I’m including pictures of both boots so you can see for yourself. If not for this one issue, I’d give these 5 stars.

I absolutely love these boots!!! I've searched high and low for a pair of high quality 100% leather boot. These are made of 100% leather with the best Vibram outsoles. It is so tough these days to find a full leather boot where the inside lining is also leather. I hope Red Wing NEVER changes their quality and materials on these boots. I did initially purchase the regular width a few years back because the wide width didn't exist and they were quite narrow to be honest, and I've waited years for Red Wing to finally come out with the wide ones, and they fit like an absolute glove! No break in period for the wide pair. I am excited to purchase more in other colors!
