Do not like new style.
I do not like the thick elastic waistband. This is a new, these pants never had that thick of a band.

Thin, so works under tighter clothing
Fit is fine, but the material is very thin compared to years ago. But apparently no one makes mid-weight or heavy weight silk underwear anymore. If you need more warmth, options are wool or synthetic. Would ONLY buy this on sale. Not worth the regular price. Also, oddly full of static cling, no matter what you do...

The waist band is too wide
There is one big flaw in the design of these silk pants and that is the waistband. It is very wide and rolls up. It just doesn't sit right. I have other silk pants with a normal elastic waist and it is a much better fit and feel. I would not recommend these pants.

Wonderful Silk Interlock Pants
I have worn Land's End Silk Interlock long johns for years. This pair was purchased to replace a pair that finally wore out. The fit is as good as ever. I expect this pair will last for many years as the old ones did! I highly recommend them to anyone dealing with cold weather.

Real silk is hard to find these days
I wanted to give 3.5 starts but don't know how. I agree with those who say these need a re-design, as the very thick waistband comes up way too high (can be folded down). I miss Winter Silks, where multiple waist styles were available, and all styles had cuffs.That said, these fit true to size and they're silk, which is exactly what I need and it's gotten hard to find! I don't find they ride up, as some suggest. I where mine over my liner socks and under my wool socks, and they keep my legs warm w/out adding bulk. Does the job.
