Shop Moc Oxford Roughout Leather Shoe

Why is the sizing weird on these - anyone else experienced the same issue? My 1907s are a size 9 and fit me perfectly, yet my 8079s are a size 9 and fit too big for me, like clown shoe big, so I have to go down to either to an 8.5 or 8. I even took the insole out from the 1907s, placed them inside the 8079s & the 1907 insole came up short - if both shoes were the same size the 1907 insole would have fit perfectly inside the 8079. That’s my only disappointment with these 8079s & curious to know if I’m the only one?

After searching for a couple of years ( none available during the Covid lockdown), I found a pair.. love the look but didn’t fit like the pair I had 30 years ago. Wide option would be nice and a tad more depth in the heel, feels like you readily can step out of the heel… most importantly the issue of insoles must be addressed . Out of the box, you feet and knees are jarred with every step. Add insoles and you’re adjusting so you don’t step out of the heel. I wanted two additional pairs, but will hold off until issues are addressed.

Bought these Mox Ofords because I wanted a lighter leather shoe Incan wear during the summer. I decided on the Hawthorne colored oxford. I wear a 9d in Iron Rangers but when doing a fitting at our Augusta Raw store it was suggested I go with a 9.5D in these as they wear gonna feel like my 1907s. I was excited to get the call they arrived today and when I got to the store they went above and beyond and ordered the 9.5 and a 10 just in case. Tried on the 9.5s and immediately felt that familiar RW feel. I wore them out of the store since I put them on my prosthetic. Got home and went on a half mile walk in them just to try and break them in much like my days in the Army. I’m super impressed with the feel and just like my 1907s these oxfords just feel great. We inspected all the stitching in the sore and for any defects of which we found none. These mock oxfords will make a great summer shoe , the Hawthorne color will be able to match up with many summer attire and best of all my foot (singular) will be well supported and finally it’s great knowing I’m supporting a company that still employs and makes products in the USA. One day I hope to make a trip to the RW headquarters just to shake everyone’s hand!

I will starts off with saying the shoes well made beautiful leather and I just saw where it is I predicted it’s just the narrowness is really troubling. I’ve we’re on for couple months and tried freezing them and wearing literally five pairs of socks it’s just for whatever reason they like to squish in my little toe
