Leave much to be desired
I was throughly disappointed with this purchase. As somebody who already has a fair bit of Shinola products, this was the worst of them. Even considering I have purchased belts from their outlet store. The leather is tacky and stiff. Which isn't always a bad thing when of quality leather. However, this is not. The buckle looks nice, but as far as functionality isn't very great either. I will be returning and would suggest looking at other belts before settling on this. Looks nice from afar, but that is about it.

Quality Belt, Size Up
My husband is a 34” waist, so according to belt sizing recommendations he should get a 36” belt. I loved the style of this belt, and the store didn’t have a 36” so I bought the 38”. As stated by another reviewer, it runs small - the 38” fit perfectly. The leather has a nice textured finish, and the matte black hardware gives it an edge.

Looks cool, poor craftsmanship
Similar to another reviewer’s comments, I found the leather to be fragile and sort of wavy, as if it would easily peel from the rest of the leather backing. There were also spots where the glue appeared sloppy, in particular on the front belt loop where the lightning bolt is. Loved the all black and matte buckle, but not worth the money.
