Seren Blush Sheer Lace-Up Back Gown

Purchased the Seren maxi dress in pink, size small. Typically I’m a small in House of CB. 135/34C, usually a 4 or 6. Sizing on this is free in the hips, fit well in the waist thanks to the lace up back, and is skimpy on the bust coverage. There is a built in bra, but the fabric cups seemed a little small. Adjustable straps but they are so thin and delicate, I worry about putting too much strain on them. Yes, the dress is semi-sheer and unlined (except in the bust). But that’s the sensual, on-trend appeal of it. This is less a prom dress and more well suited for a sexy date night. The contoured seaming is flattering but because of the sheerness, it’s overall unforgiving. I am generally more conservative and knew going into this purchase I wanted to wear shapewear or line the dress. A skirt slip throws off the look in my opinion. Or if you have a rockin body and you’re confident having it all out in your panties, you do you. It is a bit long; I’m a standard 5’5” and even with 3” heels I probably need a small hem. The fabric has a slight shimmer to it which is very pretty and feels dressy. It was relatively easy to get on. Much harder to take off XD. The lace up corset back is a PROCESS to cinch and undo by yourself, and it’s the only entry. To be honest I don’t think it’s worth the retail price since it’s an unlined dress, but on sale it’s a fun little dress to have in the closet.

Buyer beware! Daughter bought this as prom dress, and COMPLETELY transparent. Can see everything from below the chest down… needs a liner added and with the cost of the dress, it’s not worth it for the quality. I’d show a picture, but it would be indecent… heed the postings, as it’s better suited as a nightgown than an evening gown.
