Sequined Low Back Slip Gown

I bought this gown to attend a great Gatsby themed ball, but was not interested in wearing any kind of costume type dress. This dress is absolutely perfect. It’s high-quality, slightly stretchy so it’s snug on the hips in all the right ways. The neck line is tasteful and yet still sexy. I was a little concerned about how low the back was because I’m one of those people who likes to wear a bra. But it works with my strapless bra. You can’t see the backstrap at all. Simply put, I feel beautiful in it! And isn’t that the point? I highly recommend this gown to anyone for any evening event.

This dress runs so big! I am a true size 2 in Mac Duggal gowns and because this should be a fitted gown, I would need to size down to a 0 or 00. Also, it runs very short, more tea length than full length. The seamstress at Nordstrom local even thought the gown had been hemmed because the length was so different than the model pictures (but it has not). The gown is stunning with silver sequins sewn onto a black slip dress but the fit is very different from other Mac Duggal gowns. Usually their gowns run true to size & are extra long so they need to be hemmed but not this style. Very disappointed!

While this isn't the same color as the dress I ordered, the style was absolutely gorgeous. High quality material, comfortable fit. I did have to take the shoulder straps in a bit to make it so that they wouldn't slip off the shoulder, but it was easy to do. I genuinely felt like a super model in this dress. Totally worth it.
