The 992johnny, crafted by Fortela , is a selvedge denim made entirely in Okayama, Japan. These five-pocket, high-waisted jeans feature selvedge detailing on the coin pocket and leg. Silver-colored Fortela -branded buttons and natural cotton herringbone pocket linings enhance the design. The chain-stitched hem, made with a Union Special machine, adds a touch of authenticity. With a regular fit—slightly higher at the waist and a touch wider in the leg compared to the Classic John—these jeans offer both comfort and style. The iconic orange stitching on the back embodies Fortela's philosophy: garments made to last and age with the wearer, embodying a piece of history inspired by Alessandro Squarzi's vision.
