Details & care

With a rise that's just right and a slightly slimmer leg, we think these shorts have the perfect fit. They're made of the perfect blend, too — a cotton/polyester fabric that is soft from the start and withstands daily wear and countless trips through the wash. Plus, a hidden adjustable waist lets her fine-tune the fit.Product certified to OEKO-TEX STANDARD100 20.HUS.26160 Hohenstein

Stiff, ugly, too big

Very stiff fabric and they fit big/loose. Won't work for my skinny girl. Wish returns weren't so expensive!

Fit is Wrong

I need a 31 waist and 41 hip. AND I am tall. Your shorts are tight hips or voluminous waist. I am not built like a teen. Quit with the Asian pencil body type. I have to keep taking in the waist myself if the hips fit.

Shallow Pockets

The shorts are nice looking. Fabric is stiff and they appear well made, but based on other reviews I sized up to get a proper fit. Even with the upsize, the rise is lower than expected. The most disappointing feature of these shorts is the shallow pockets. Most Lands' End pants I've purchased in the past had nice deep pockets that opened at the top, but even side-opening pockets were deep enough to keep items from falling out. On first wearing of these shorts, my phone fell out of one pocket and a lip balm fell out of the other pocket when I sat down. These are side-mounted pockets and just not deep enough to hold items securely.

Tight at waist

I was excited to receive these as I have been looking for tan shorts in a 12" length. I have a big belly but other shorts from Lands End have fit me well. I considered keeping them but would have only been able to wear them with a very long shirt because they looked awful at the waist. Fabric very stiff but would probably been ok after a few washings. I returned them. Still hoping for tan shorts that fit.

Good quality not not true to size

They are not true to size. My almost 9 year old does not fit the size 10, and the 12 is not much bigger, and is tight. Wont last the whole year. The measurements makes no sense at all.
