Sam Leather Platform Sandal

I like the shoes itself, but it took too long to arrive & the package is pretty banged up (was shipped through USPS. I liked that it was platform, gave me an extra height and the material is quite comfortable. I walk a lot at work and I did not want to wear just sneakers, so I am always looking for practical alrernatives. HOWEVER, I ordered it in black and it came as white as snow. It takes longer for them to ship, and third party sellers usually use USPS. Not sure what they do out there at USPS, but there is always a risk that the item is damaged before it can get to you. Returning the item is also more of a hassle if it’s from third party sellers than if it were shipped by Nordstrom. There are certain conditions to be met. I noticed Nordstrom is now allowing 3rd party sellers to sell thru their website however the quality of service is different when the item is shipped directly by Nordstrom. The quality of the shopping experience deteriorates. I am not sure if this is a good idea for Nordstrom. I think it takes down their prestige a notch lower. If I want this kind of experience I would have just shopped at JC Penny’s.

Normally wear M width. This is too wide and my foot slid to the opening causing irritation. Cute style is the reason I've bought it. I would've keep it if width wasn't too wide.

I had to return these because the shoe was about 2 sizes too big. Also it was shipped with just a plastic wrapper around it so the box was pretty beat up and damaged when it arrived. I didn’t bother trying to re-order them in a smaller size.

I ordered this shoe according to the US sizes listed on the Nordstrom website. These shoes ship from the manufacturer, not Nordstrom. These shoes are labeled with European size, and that's why the US 7 I ordered was way too big for me. I am a 37 in most shoes that are European sized, even if the shoe is a little bigger or smaller based on brand. I am a 6.5 in US shoes that run TTS or 7 when they're a bit narrow or the recommendation is to size up for 1/2 sizes. Nordstrom should have sizing listed according to the manufacturer's listing, and ideally size charts for each individual brand, not generic size charts. Especially if the item is a third party "marketplace" item. For Nordstrom Merch with the little video, there should be sizing recommendations based on sales associates and buyers/customer's fit experiences.

This shoes is very light as if you not wearing anything!!!I’m size 5 and wide width and size 5 is perfect you don’t have to go size higher .. love the shoes!..❤️

Love the style. Too bad they were damaged where the elastic is attached.
