Water Repellent Parka with Removable Faux Fur Trim

This is the perfect coat to stay warm and look great while walking my dog around the city. The pockets are fantastic - I don’t even need a purse when running errands - can fit sunglasses in a case, cellphone, keys, wallet, mask, and more in larger front pockets….lip balm in zippered breast pocket (or credit cards/cash, or both), side slit pockets to stash gloves or your hands. You can adjust the drawstring at waist to give yourself more of a shape. The hood is super generous and the faux fur is lush and fun. The fabric is not too shiny but silky enough to repel water, coffee, lint and dog hair! I’m 132, 5’7” and sized up from a small to a medium so I can wear larger sweaters underneath. I’m usually a small but def advise going up a size - the small fit and looked fine but was tight on my arms and shoulders when I put on a moderately thicker sweater and tried to lifer my arms up. I’m a Patagonia girl and this jacket is a fun alternative to all my thermoball coats!

I previously bought a different Sam Edelman puffer on Nordstrom and as much as I loved it, the quality was super cheap and it tore and ended up returning it. Decided to give this Sam Edelman coat a go and I ordered it in black. I wore it against black jeans... a black handbag... This thing is not black. It's like an ink color; super dark blue. While it is a nice coat, it is rather bulky and unflattering, though it is warm. Besides, I just wanted a standard black coat for winter and that's what I thought I was getting but it's most definitely not black. I'm giving up on Sam Edelman coats/puffers. Disappointed and returning.
