BERNARDO FOOTWEAR

Encouraged by Vogue's Diana Vreeland, architect Bernard Rudofsky debuted his first collection in 1946, marking the creation of modern sandals for women. His art- and architecture-influenced designs were popular with jet setters and fashion icons during the style-obsessed midcentury decades, and today's collections offer modern interpretations based on those celebrated originals.

Finally, a sandal that is not too narrow

I’ve been on the hunt for a minimalist pair of black leather thongs that were also comfortable. This checked the box. I have normal width foot but my toe box is wider so I struggle to find sandals that fit me. I ordered my true size 9, and they fit perfectly. They have light padding in the foot bed.

Crazy soft delicious suede

Most expensive flip flops I've ever purchased but they are divine. Quality fit for a princess. Usually wear an 8.5bin sandals and this is true to size. I've tried other Bernardo flip flops in the past and they ran a full size too small. These are perfect.
