52mm Round Sunglasses

Absolutely love these glasses, perfection from YSL. Anyone thinking of purchasing these - the glasses themselves I would give 5 stars. My issue is with the condition the glasses were shipped in. They came with the sunglass case, but no box! My last two sunglass purchases were also from Nordstrom (Chanel and Tom Ford), both, of course, came with the sunglass case, and the box. These are $500-$600 pairs of sunglasses. They absolutely need to come with their box. The wrapping looks like someone slapped my order together in 30 seconds. I adore Nordstrom, but definitely disappointed in how these were delivered. When I called Customer Care, they told me there was nothing they could do, and I was told that even if she reordered them for me, they still may come without a box. What? She then offered that I could drive to a store near me, and ask if they would give me one, which is also a maybe, if they had one. I expected so much better from Nordstrom. ☹️

Considering these were expensive sunglasses, the package was simply left at my front door. I live in New York, and it was extremely windy that day, causing the package to be blown several houses down without my knowledge. When I reported that the package had not been received, I was given a hard time rather than assistance. I ultimately had to search for the package myself and found it in a wet condition. While the sunglasses were intact, both the outer packaging and the box inside were damaged. All I am requesting is acknowledgment of the situation and assurance that, for high-value purchases, proper delivery procedures will be followed in the future.
