Jumpstart Lace Slip-On Sneaker

...as i was doing my morning walk the first day in this pair of rykas i noticed i wasnt concentrating on the walk but was zeroed in on how awesome these shoes felt from the first wearing...they are seriously reasonably priced, well made and extremely comfortable!

The price point and slip-on feature of this shoe were attractive. The shoe also looked cute to me online. Ordered my normal size for athletic shoes which is 8.5M. I found the shoe to be wide throughout - toe box and heel were wide enough for the foot to slide around and the shoe gaped open around my heel - but the length was normal. In person, the shoe was bulky and ugly. It is light weight. Returned.

Yes!! Finally! A comfortable and good looking walking shoe. I’ve spent a lot of money on Nike, Adidas, and New Balance walking shoes, and have been extremely disappointed with the results. Ryka has definitely met my expectations! The price is right, great fit and extremely comfortable!

I have tried different socks and even used one of those Dr. Scholl’s strips and it hurts the back of my right heel. The picture is after half a day of wearing the shoes with the strips for padding today. It’s not practical for me to put on a bandaid on each time I wear these shoes. These repeatedly hurt the back of my right heel and almost a month ago, I could only wear my crocs because I had to heal from the severe skin abrasions that was bleeding! I didn’t take a picture of it back then because I couldn’t stand looking at it since I don’t do well with queasy stuff. I am so confused and disappointed by these pair because the other Ryka I bought previously fit so nicely and are so comfortable. I have worn these 20 times and feel bad about returning them, so still stuck on what to do but wanted to share my experience so that you are aware that one shoe might be defective!

I wear an 8 and I ordered an 8 Medium. They fit perfectly!! I work on my feet for 8-12 hours/day in my embroidery shop and have no back pain and no foot/leg aches and pains while wearing these shoes. My only regret is not trying Ryka sneakers before now. I will be ordering these in more colors!
