Devotion X Walking Sneaker (Women)

I really liked these shoes when I got them. In fact, I still like them. But I’ve had them for less than 2 weeks and the rubber piece on the toe is already peeling off of one shoe. I’m not sure if I have a defective pair, but this seems too quick for them to be damaged already. I don’t even wear them everyday.

Have been searching for a comfortable yet supporting walking shoe for over a year. Right out of the box these were a perfect fit. Great arch support. Beautiful fit in the heel. Don’t even need to use orthotics in them. I’m 65 and walk daily and wearing these I do not need a knee brace. Going to buy another pair.

I purchased these during the sale as a walking shoe and general activity shoe. About 3 weeks after purchase, the rubber on the toe that comes from the bottom of the shoe to the toe pulled away from the sole and was just flapping around. Obviously I returned but I won’t repurchase. They’re not as comfy as other brands for walking (Hoka or On Clouds) so I’ll stick with another brand.

First, these are really very comfortable walking shoes. That said, I have only worn my pair 4-5 times, at most. I was wearing them yesterday and they felt oddly loose on my right foot. I noticed this morning that one of the sewn-on eyelets for shoelaces, was already detached. I was undeterred as I wore them again for a little while today and that weird, loose, feeling had returned. I have read about a lacking quality in Ryka shoes and have witnessed it for myself, unfortunately. I will say that these are both stylish and comfortable, except for that loose feeling.

I’m so glad I found these shoes for our upcoming trip that will include a lot of walking. These shoes are VERY comfortable right out of the box. The French Beige is a new color for me as I usually go with black or something not as light in color or neutral. Very excited to wear these with skirts and dresses also for added comfort and style. What a great price during the Anniversary Sale!
