Right from the box

True to size, with just enough room for thicker socks if necessary. Cushy feel. When I purchased, wide was the only width available. My feet are wide but not super wide, and I normally do fine in regular width. These feel great, though.

Hurt my feet

The material and comfort of the shoe was very uncomfortable and hurt my feet. I usually like Rykas, I simply made a bad choice. I have a pair that I wear all the time, but they have been discontinued.

Great at first until they weren’t

I was happy to find a wide width shoe for walking. I noticed over a short time that they stretched out on me and are much looser, especially around the ankles. Wide sneakers tend to be bigger around the ankles and it can be a problem for me. They also don’t breathe so my feet get hot.

Medium runs like a wide

Medium width Seems to run wider than other brands and heel not as narrow. I do like the cushion snd materials the medium being wide does make the fit loose around sides of foot. I had to tighten laces all the way and wear thick socks.

Love the retro look & great fit!

Good fit with large toe box. I’m hard on shoes and walk a lot in rural areas and these shoes fit well and still look pretty good for all the wear & tear I put on them.

Not Like My Other Rykas

I ordered the dark brown Devotion X Max Classic Sneaker, but they felt stiff and didn’t provide much support for my high arches. Unlike my other Ryka shoes that feel like walking on clouds, these just weren’t comfortable for me. Unfortunately, I’ll be returning them.
