Runway Pant

So I don't get the 5 star reviews. I have a pair of these pants and the waist is unusually large (and I am a momma and usually have opposite issue with pants). The pants stretch in the waist and bum over the course of wearing and in about an hour they are completely bagged out and pulling them up, folding the waist over and generally tugging at these. The fabric is their signature "Ponte di Rome" fabric which is basically a double weave synthetic that is a little sturdier than normal poly. I have made a huge effort to transition my wardrobe over to natural fabrics and eliminate all poly and all synthetic blends from my closet over the years and these pants got donated. They are not elevated by any means. Also - just an fyi - I got my pants through S&S in 2023 for $80 full price and now they are $120? With the coupon they were $62. I looked at my receipt and could not believe the jump in price for poly. We need to make better choice in fast fashion and stop filling our landfill with all of these synthetics that do not breakdown.

I LOVE how these look on the model and was waiting for my size to come back in stock—-and once it did, I jumped to purchase. I’m so glad I did because they’re as comfy as sweatpants but as chic as work pants. The perfect low key luxe I was looking for. I got in my usual size 6 and the waist is forgiving but not loose enough to size down. I will definitely have to hem, but luckily Nordstrom has great alterations on site. Highly recommend and am looking forward to exploring more of this brand!

I bought these pants hoping for an elevated option for wearing everyday pants that are comfortable for wearing around the house and still stylish enough to wear out and about. I was disappointed in both the fabric (just not as nice as I expected for the price) and the style (very plain and boring).
