Ruffle Detail Georgette Shirtdress

This is a deep plum color…extremely flattering for me (I’m an autumn) so always looking for these deep tones, I love that it’s lined (so many dresses aren’t and need slips) I ordered a size 2 and found the fit was perfect (it runs on the slightly generous side) I’m busty and this buttoned beautifully no gaps. It’s a lot of dress, but very elegant, you could wear this for a work event or a winter wedding, or going to a dinner & drinks. I do think if you don’t wear heels, full makeup, hair done and tied correctly it could feel overwhelming on some. I’m about 121 pounds 5ft and added a pair of velvet Manolo heels and it looked incredible. Highly recommend, it’s a maxi length on me.

I was really disappointed with how this dress arrived. It was extremely wrinkled, as if it had been shoved into a bag with no care at all. The tag was oddly attached to a button, which made it feel like this item had already been returned and possibly worn before being sent to me. When compared to the advertised photos, the difference is obvious. The presentation alone made it look nothing like what was shown online. Unfortunately, this feels like another example of Nordstrom’s service going downhill lately, and it clearly shows in how this item was handled and shipped. Based purely on how it arrived, it makes me want to return it without even trying it on.
