Round-Toe Slip-On Sneaker Boots

Pros: 1) Wearing them is like walking on a cloud- very supportive and light 2) They actually do slip on and off hands-free. So easy to throw them on while running out the door 3) Cute and warm for cooler weather. The perfect fall bootie. . . except. . . Cons: 1) Not water repellent, not even a little. . . I noticed when I went back and looked they don't make any written claim to being water repellent, although the product picture with water pouring on them makes them seem like they are, but they aren't. Went to quick water a couple plants the other day and a few drops splashed on them and I could immediately feel where the drops had landed and soaked right into the shoe. Since I bought these for as a spring/fall shoe, I was really hoping they'd keep my feet dry in a light rain, but clearly that isn't going to happen. Not for rainy weather! 2) They aren't breathable. Don't know why, since they aren't water repellent, but they are very warm. Will wear them on cool days only, which is okay since I live in the upper Midwest and we have plenty of those. 3) They are tight across the top. I do have wide feet. Wish they sold them in wide widths. I wear an 8. 5 wide and ordered the 9. They work but wish they were a little wider.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are extremely comfortable — they fit well, feel plush, and the structure around the ankles is gentle yet supportive. They don’t provide much arch support, but they don’t claim to either. I was very happy with my purchase since I always struggle to find comfortable shoes — my feet ache and most toe boxes squeeze my toes. However, after one year, the foam around the ankles wore out, leaving the raw foam exposed and rough against the skin. At this price point, I expected better durability and sturdier construction. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

So very comfortable and the cushioning is excellent for my bad knee. Easy on and off! The really do run small. I am a 8. 5 in most Vivaia shoes and by the reviews I did order up to a 9 and it fits perfectly. I do go barefoot or wear very thin wool socks. If you wear heavier socks, think about really sizing up.
