Gorgeous Palette
Wow these colors are beautiful! I was on the fence about this palette since there’s so much pink! But I saw several YouTube videos of women reviewing it and they were all pleasantly surprised how much they liked it! I’m glad I took a chance on it! I’m very fair skinned with blonde hair and the lighter 2 shades look lovely as eyeshadows on me and the 2 darker shades look awesome as blush. I bought the limited brushes and the Baum in this collection as well (I had to buy the other 2 items on Channel.com since Nordstrom didn’t have them…yet?). If you love Channel you might want to give this Spring palettes try before it sells out :)

Saw couple of actresses rock rouge noir collection at golden globes. But I’m giving 2 stars for few reasons,
1. The formula - the big palette formulas are different than their regular ones. These are baked and firm pressed. I personally don’t like them.
2. Color story - is repetitive. The first shade, rouge noir has been done in enchanted night palette and jardin imaginaire. Not exact shades, but too meager to notice.
3. A lot influencers used this as cheek palette than eye palette. For blushes, I don’t like this formula. Chanel does REALLY beautiful blushes for their limited editions. This is sub-par.
4. Highlighter is too subtle. Almost invisible on medium skin-tone.
5. This look comes to life with rouge noir lipstick. But that’s a certain style, for certain season. The vision is beautiful, but not practical for everyday purposes. But any pink lipstick would still work for everyday.
I would have loved it if it was regular sized eye palette - just because of the formula.

Chanel needs to uplevel stat.
This piece was sent to influencers first and then released online. It sold out immediately. That in itself bothers me. The short supply to create demand. Nordstrom did not even have these in stores before they sold out. Then after acquiring I noticed how little pizazz this piece has. I have the December 2024 Chanel Enchanted Night palette which this has similarities to although this collection doesn’t have a lot of impressiveness. The cheek color in this palette is like Pink Explosion and the highlighter is better in Diamond Dust the formal Chanel highlighter palette. The overall formula of this palette itself is bad. It’s very dry. It took a lot of passes to get any product on the brush and was very patchy and difficult to lay or build on the eye. This is exactly what Chanel’s 2025 Winter Constellation Space Traveler Palette was like. I returned it after the first try. I’m doing the same for this Confidence Palette. Chanel has a 24 month PAO (period after opening.) I still have plenty within expiration of Enchanted Night. For Chanel to release something so close in color with a worse formula makes them look bad.

Beautiful, unexpected and versatile
I knew this palette was coming out and trusted a few influencers I follow on the formula, color payoff and expectations. I don’t have any blush colors like this and the colors aren’t anything I’d normally choose for my eyes. Chanel pigmentation isn’t always there but this palette is a mix of high and lower pigmentation and one of the better formulas for pigmentation. I didn’t purchase this without level setting my expectations, but based on what I learned, I’m happy with the pallet. This is a nice departure from my typical color choices and I’m already having fun experimenting with different ways to use it on the eyes and cheeks and can see how I can adapt to use day or night. I recommend to anyone who’s interested in this to watch some reviews in advance given the price tag. It’s more versatile than you may think.

Perfection
I was so excited to see this collection. I love a pink look . This is definitely pink but it’s not a little girl pink . It’s an editorial pink . It is subtle and sophisticated. I love how Chanel is soft so it can be built up to exactly what look I want . Sometimes barely there sometimes bold . It is perfect for every day or a night out . I love the entire Rouge Noir collection!

Actually like it
I actually like it, like another reviewer said its subtle on medium skin, but as someone in my 30s I don't mind. I don't own a lot of makeup so I think of it as an investment since it lasts 18 months. It's worth the splurge atleast on me.
