Big Miss by Rhône

I've owned 15 pairs of the Mako shorts over the past 10 years. It was the perfect shorts. The best part was the zip pocket on the side where you could store your phone during workouts. The pocket was to the back of the side. When your phone was in the pocket you didn't even know it was there. It was perfect for workouts. The new Pursuit short which replaced the Mako short is not even close to being as good as the Mako short. It has the side zip pocket to the front side. Every time I take a step my leg now hits the phone. I can't even rest dumbbells on my legs or brace my legs under the pads on the back pulldown machine because the phone is now in the way. This is a complete miss by Rhône. It's disappointing they stopped making the perfect Mako short for the Persuit short that is completely inferior. I guess I need to find a new brand now that has a better side pocket.
Disappointed

Lousy pockets

Lousy pockets that can’t hold a phone when running.

Good but a miss with the pocket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like these shorts but they’re just missing a phone sleeve inside the pockets. A small minor detail that may not mean much but goes along way. I purchased them with the liner and without; the liner has a sleeve which helps but I don’t like having to pick up the short to grab my phone. Other than that, great short, good quality.

Best shorts and great color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great color to add to my workout shorts! Best shorts in the market as far as I’m concerned…soft, stretchy and the perfect length.
