Regatta Piqué Performance Polo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really want to love Rhone’s polos, but unfortunately, there are several issues that make them difficult to recommend. First, the fit needs significant improvement. While the polos fit reasonably well through the shoulders and chest, they become noticeably wide and bulky toward the waist and bottom. Rather than providing a streamlined, athletic silhouette, the excess material creates an unflattering appearance that makes your midsection look larger than it actually is. These are definitely not slim-fit polos. Second, the fabric is far too prone to snagging. The material seems to catch on almost anything, making it incredibly easy to damage an otherwise nice-looking polo. Something as simple as brushing against the corner of a wall or piece of furniture can leave a permanent snag. For a premium-priced polo, I would expect considerably better durability. My suggestion to the Rhone team: Please consider redesigning these polos or introducing a style comparable to Vuori’s Strato Tech Polo. Vuori has absolutely nailed the combination of fabric, fit, comfort, and overall design. For reference, I'm 6'2", 240 pounds, with broad shoulders and an athletic build. Vuori's Strato Tech polos and tees fit me exceptionally well. They're tailored through the chest and waist without being restrictive, have the perfect sleeve fit and length, and don't have unnecessary bulk around the midsection. They offer exactly the kind of athletic, streamlined fit I'd love to see from Rhone. I have been a loyal Rhone customer and would love to make their polos a staple in my wardrobe; however, unless the fit and fabric durability improve, I'll have to continue to purchase Vuori polos.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The material is rough and chafing on the skin. It does not hold up. The shirt had a funny odor, I thought it was from the plastic wrap when shipped. It has not dissipated. I would not recommend or buy this shirt again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own several delta polos, and have to agree with the description that this is a more refined version of that polo. The fit is very similar, but the material subtle changes just make it more refined. Will definitely buy more.
