I purchased this belt with high expectations given the Cole Haan brand reputation. Unfortunately, the reversible buckle mechanism failed on the very first wear — the pin spring gave out completely, rendering the belt unusable.
For a belt at this price point, that level of durability is simply unacceptable.
The leather itself seems fine, but a belt is only as good as its hardware. I would not recommend this product and would caution anyone considering it to look closely at reviews of the buckle mechanism before purchasing

Looks good / Breaks fast
Belt did not last long before the pin that allows for the "reversible" element broke. Based on other reviews, this seems to be a common problem.

Terrible Product Design
The worst product I have bought in a long time. In the very first wearing the belt buckle separated at the point where the turns to allow it to be reversible. Complete failure.
