If you love classic Gucci loafers and are looking for a great casual option, look no further. The thicker sole gives these a ton of personality that stands out among the Summer Walk style that every label is making these days. Also, the rubber on the soles is far more resilient than the typical white-soled loafer. The amaranth leather has a beautiful brownish hue with a touch of burgundy, and they are versatile year-round in Southern California. Great for the weekends but also for my business-casual office, where I receive a ton of compliments but almost no one picks up that they’re Gucci (a plus for me). Logo on tongue is very discrete, especially on the Amaranth color. Underside of sole is embossed with GG motif which looks great. Quality is apparent from a mile away. Perfect blend of boldness and understatement. Unlike any other shoe but won’t draw too much unwanted attention. You won’t see anyone else wearing them since you can’t even find these at Gucci. Very comfortable with or without socks. True to size.
