Revamp Women's Chelsea Boot

The boot appears well made, but the correct size (according to their size chart and my typical size in all brands Ive ever worn) was quite tight across the toes. I spent HOURS on hold with customer service trying to get authorization to do a return or exchange and was never able to get through to a representative. I also emailed the address provided on my receipt and followed the instructions for requesting return authorization (now several weeks ago) and never heard back. Once it became clear I wasn't going to be able to return the boots, I tried wearing them for a couple of days to break them in. They are just too tight in the toe box. Im usually a 6.5 or 7, depending on the brand, and ordered these in a 7. There doesnt seem to be a trend of these running small per other reviews, so I dont know what went wrong with this pair. I dont have wide feet, and this is not a fit issue I've had in any other work or chelsea boots I've ever owned. They look beautiful. Wish I could wear them. Or, barring that, wish I could return them without having to take a day off work to get permission from the company to do so.
