Who knew it was Samsonite?
Really pretty piece of luggage inside and out, but wondering how it will wear since it is no longer Hartman but manufactured by Samsonite.

Bad decision
One of the worst travel related decisions ever. Just finished my first trip and several things have already gone wrong. Th logo on the front is broken. The handle on the top is offset so if you try to pick it up that way it is not in balance. One half of the inside has two dividers. They are very thick and even if laid flat they take up a lot of space. When I first grabbed it off of the carousel, it had something very heavy on top of it. This forced the top of the lid inside of the bottom half covering up the zipper. I had to borrow a screwdriver to pry the two halves apart and open it

Just DIDNT Realize
That it was actually plastic-based….even though I read all the descriptions, I thought it was going to be a type of metal….i last bought luggage in 1999, from Hartmann, which lasted me 26 years(!) so I have not kept up to date on current luggage trends. I had only seen other people at airports using metal luggage so I just assumed that this was metal because of the way it looked online. HOWEVER, when I got it & saw how beautiful it was, I didn’t care a bit that it wasn’t metal & I kept it. We will be using it for the first time for an upcoming trip, so can’t give a full review, but I absolutely LOVE the look, the interior, all the pouches & special compartment, the way it rolls, everything about it. And since I had such fabulous luck with my other Hartmann luggage, I wouldn’t consider buying another brand…!

Poor quality
I took the suitcase on one trip and I’ve had the zipper break as well as the strap. It’s definitely not worth the money paid.

Quality questioned…
I returned it. The material felt like cheap plastic, not up to the quality of my previous purchases (been buying Hartmann luggage for over 45 years).
