Remi Floral Strapless Corset Maxi Dress

It's ok. works best on thin body types, otherwise looks like I have broad shoulders. But worse is that the dress is a thin layer of pattern fabric laying atop a thicker "shell" so to speak, and only connected in the seams, so when I received it, it was all ripped from those seams, in 2 locations so even if I loved it and got a new one, i would worry how easy it would be for the thin fabric to come undone again.

Sooooo pretty and flowy! Beautiful silhouette but it tore easily as another reviewer mentioned. I exchanged the dress that pulled at the seems bc the zipper was o hard to zip (especially zipping up/close) when the dress was on and off. Fortunately the replacement was delivered to my mom’s address in time (wouldn’t get to me before I left for the trip) and I was able to wear it to the event. The xs held my slim but busty and somewhat curvy bottom body like a glove; no pulling up the strapless top needed; the side boning and silicone like material for the bust worked very very well! I have a smallest waist but for those who don’t this dress would def be complimentary and since the waist w out restricting breathing. If I had more time I would’ve had it hemmed about 2-3 inches. I am 5’4” and had 3inc heels on; I have long legs and short torso and appear to be 5’6” or so. I’m 126/228 depending on the wk and a small would’ve been a bit too loose. I paired the dress w simple vintage Tiffany & Co earrings and ring, and fun sparkly pewter headband, nothing more was needed. I got tons of compliments when I wore it to my Chapter's signature annual fundraising day time event. Would be perfect for a day or evening wedding, cordial party or a celebratory dinner and can be worn in any season w the right accessories (wrap/csrdi, shrug). Timeless keeper!

This is a lovely fun summer dress. I have gotten so many compliments.

The print on this dress is lovely IMO. The fabric is soft and flowy. The strapless corset top is flattering for my shape. I should have ordered a small instead of a medium as the bust and waist were too loose. I am also petite so this dress would need to be altered in order for it to work on my frame.
