'Original Aviator' 58mm Sunglasses

this is my very first pair of ray-ban sunglasses and don't see myself spending $300+ on another plastic framed trendy designer shades ever again! first, the lenses on these are far superior than lenses on most other sunglasses on shelves of major retailers. they're not so dark that i feel the need to take them off as soon as i go indoors. these are built to last and not go out of season (i.e. won't be found at the rack next month). so it's true that they are very big. i have a wider face so the smaller ones are just too small. i think these are 62mm and cover the width of my face with a little to spare. i was concerned about their fit. the salesperson was extremely helpful, she first adjusted the nosepieces so they sit better. when i expressed the concern of the earpieces being too far off because the distance between my temple and top of ear was shorter than the arm, she immediately let me know that i can just take them downstairs to lenscrafters where they can be adjusted free of charge! double sold! true to her words, the technician at lenscrafters adjusted the earpiece, nosepiece and even the connections at the temple to fit my face perfectly with 3 different special instruments all free of charge. needless to say, i am very happy with this purchase. :)

I am a HUGE fan of Big Aviator Glasses AND especially Ray Bans, but unfortunately they were too big even for me. :( I don't know if these glasses would work for women in general because the lenses are seriously HUGE, but in true fashion of Ray Band Quality, the glasses by themselves (not on me) looked fantastic!! Unfortunately because they didn’t work on my face, I had to return them and buy a different pair of gold Ray Bans in a smaller size. Other buyers take note: the lenses are pretty shiny and reflective. You can't tell that from the picture but they are a lot shinier in person. Not that it's a bad thing, just an observation.
