Raw Hem Wide Leg Maternity Jeans

These are super cute and comfortable. Im 510 and they come to the top of my ankles. I actually assumed they would be a little shorter, so these would probably be pretty full length pants on someone shorter. They are really nicely fitted through the butt and hips (stretchy and comfy though!) so I think they are really flattering. I think they work with both a loose or fitted top. They mostly stay up on my 18 week bump but the band is really soft, stretchy, and long/ high so I feel confident they will last throughout my whole pregnancy. The ivory belly band has pros and cons. On the one hand, it doesnt show through lighter tops, but on the other hand, if your shirt comes up a bit, it basically looks like your skin showing. I think they run true to sizeIm 510 and about 155 lbs at 18 weeks pregnant and the medium fits perfectly. I usually wear a 29 in other pants.

I love the color and the style of these. I also love that the belly band is cream instead of dark blue like most other maternity pants. However, I am still struggling with even liking maternity pants as a whole. They wear weird and the fact that you have to wear an extra long shirt to cover up the bellyband is beyond me. I wish there were more alternative fits out there for expecting mothers (or folks who just need some room to grow). They are also slightIy longer than I had hopes for -- I am 5'2", so not super shocking. They will look good with a higher wedge. am looking forward to being able to wear these in my last few month of pregnancy (due 11/14) when the weather is a bit cooler. I really miss my jeans!
