Beautiful Shoes!
I love the design of this shoe. The leather laces are a nice design touch especially with the White Snake color way. I haven't worn the shoes out yet so Im not sure if the laces will become an annoyance ( I don't want to constantly have to re-tie the shoes if Im out and about.
Fit - I feel like this shoe runs a little narrow. I am medium width and the fit is snug. Not tight or painful. The shoe is leather so I I am expecting leather to stretch a little as I wear them. If you have a wide foot I do not recommend this shoe. I also like that the shoe is elasticized at the heel, so I don't have to worry about the shoe sliding up and down. Rag & Bone is know for their ortholite insoles that make the shoes very comfortable to wear. I have not worn these out yet; but I am looking forward to styling them.
I think these shoes can be worn to work or casually meeting friends for lunch , etc.
Price: R&B shoes are on the pricier side. There are other less expensive options for ballet flats. However Rag and Bone stands out for their craftsmanship, designs and the materials they use - worth the spend for me

I assumed the material on the shoe would give, but it didn’t and immediately I wanted the shoe off my foot. I tried to adjust the laces, but that didn’t do very much. It’s for a much more narrow foot

The Only Flats I Wear
I’ve been gatekeeping these flats, and I typically never wear flats. I have a narrow and short 7.5US W/37.5EU foot, and these shoes fit me perfectly TTS! My old go-tos were the older Everlane Day Heel for reference. If you have a wide foot, size up 1/2 size or try to try on in person; you may need to try another style for wide feet (I recommend the Puma Speedcat Gos which didn’t work for me). I immediately ordered a back-up pair of the Sophia ballet flats after falling in love.
The first day I wore these, I was on my feet for 12-15 hours for work. I have not taken them off since. The insole cushions my arch and has completely converted me to R&B, and the leather is beautiful — albeit it may scratch if rubbed against asphalt. I get so many compliments on the Mocha color and the lace-up detail, and I can wear these with everything. These have become my favorite everyday shoe for the past month. I cannot give them enough praise!
