Prospect Square Leather Crossbody Bag

The leather and size of the bag are perfect and exactly what I was looking for but if you want to wear this bag on your shoulder with the strap on the shorter setting I would not purchase. The metal pieces that allow you to adjust the size stick out into your shoulder and are really irritating after a little while. You can actually see it if you look at the picture I just didn’t notice it before buying it. My bag was also missing one of the strap loops so the strap wasn’t laying flat it sticks out and looks weird. I’ll be returning

I ordered this bag because it looks like a great daily bag with a nice liner. I’m always looking for a bag with a liner that isn’t black so I can find my stuff! I’m keeping it but a bit disappointed with the quality for this price. I don’t see it selling for its regular price of $400. The leather is soft but doesn’t feel particularly thick, luxurious, or durable. The stitching along the body of the bag almost looks crooked. It’s accurately pictured in one of the pictures so that’s my mistake for not noticing. My last critique is the strap. It’s heavy and clunky and it has three set positions for adjustment. There’s only one length for crossbody. The other 2 positions would be a short shoulder length and hand length. The strap is sewn on so needs to be destroyed to remove and replace. I’m giving it 4 stars because most of what I don’t like is right there in the listing. It’s still a nice shape and size for an everyday purse. The liner is a nice thick canvas-like material that will hold up well. I’m going to replace the strap and I’m hope the bag holds up well.

Rag and Bone's Prospect purse is a very soft leather and surprisingly holds everything you could need! Absolutely love it and unlike so many designer bags it is lightweight! I love everything about this bag: the color the softness and the inner pockets and size of the bag (which holds a lot). BUT the "adjustable" strap is impossible to adjust! I am unable to detach the end of the strap from the pins that the woman in the photos says are "snaps". Beware they are not snaps and in fact pins and I don't want to damage the leather to force it off. I have called Nordstrom and Rag and Bone to ask how this can be done and neither were helpful whatsoever.
