The Rab Xenair Alpine Light Jacket keeps our microclimate relaxed on the climb while still keeping us warm when taking in our hard-earned view. Strategically filled with synthetic fibers, this layer gives added insulation where we need it most and increased breathability in those high-heat areas. The wind's force is dulled by the Pertex fabric, and spindrift glances off the DWR-treated exterior, ensuring nothing can keep us from the top.

Extremely Versatile

This piece is perfect for a number of activities in various conditions. It is warm-yet-breathable, and it layers well with lots of different setups. This makes it extremely versatile for mountain use, and I have personally used this jacket for skiing, rock climbing, hiking, scrambling, commuting, and as a travel jacket to visit family. This is the middle weight of the Xenair Jackets, and it is definitely my favorite!

This is my second Rab

This is my second Rab jacket and the zipper is a little hard to get started. Much harder than my first one (which I still use even though the dog bit a few holes in it. . ) I'm afraid to pull on it too hard, I was hoping it would get better after use but it has not. Very comfortable and very warm.

Long enough and straight hem

Love the straight hem! Perfect length and fit for ladies with large busts and midlife bellies. Flattering cut with enough room to move and reach, and enough length to stay put. Surprisingly warm for how light it is. Love this!
