As beautiful in person as it is in the pictures
I couldn't be happier with this coat. It is very slimming--amazing for a puffer coat. For your own comparison, I am 5'5" and weigh 155 lbs. I ordered both a medium and a large and am keeping the medium. I won't be able to wear anything too heavy underneath, but I'm okay with that. The medium "just" fits. I think it is a great coat for the money. Can't wait for the temperatures to get a bit colder so I can wear it.

Wanted to love it
I love this coat it fit perfect except by the underarms it was snug. If I hugged myself the underarms would rip. It had no give. For reference I’m 5’7” 170. I did order the large and xtra large. The large was perfect except, and the xtra large was too big. Sadly sent them both back.

Lightweight despite the length
This is a very nice coat and it should pair well with most causal to slightly dressy outfits. It looks just like the photo and looks nice worn open, also. It feels lightweight when you are wearing it which was a surprise due to it's overall size/length. I wear a 10/12 and purchased XL due to a large bust and broad shoulders. The XL feels perfect, I can move my arms/shoulders with no tension, easily zip the coat and there is room for a light sweater underneath. I don't believe that would have been true for me, given my body type, in a large. The sleeve length is good for long arms, goes just to where it hits on the model. There is a zipper on the side of each leg which is a cool feature. My guess is that this was done so if you sit while wearing the coat you can unzip the sides for greater comfort/ease of movement. The pockets are deep and roomy and partially close by a single snap instead of zippers or nothing at all. There are no inside pockets. I can't speak to how warm this will keep you in whatever temperature you are in for the winter. It will definitely work for CA. This is a great coat overall, glad I bought it and that it fits!

Runs Slim, size up
I am 5'5", 110lbs. Ordered Small and Medium to see which fit better. Assumed it would be Small bc thats my usual size but I was Wrong! Size Small the sleeves were short and shoulders tight. It's for winter and wanted coat I could wear a sweatshirt or sweater under. Medium fit much more comfortable, arm length was good and had room room move in shoulders or for sweater under it. Kept the Medium. If you like a slim fit, wear your usual size but if you want some room to move and put a sweater under it, size up.
