The headphones build quality is really good, they feel light to wear, the sound is amazing. I dont like the way they sound with Spatial audio in the app, the sound quality drops, I use them with DTS and the Dolby app, the Dolby app sounds better for me, so far I love them.

Awful for gaming

I think the title says it all. If you're a gamer, these are not for you. The audio quality is ok for music, but nothing else. The app lacks features. The noise-cancelling features work ok. I can still hear outside sounds. The app has a pass-through feature that doesn't allow passive use. I'm used to open-can headphones. I wanted to use this feature permanently, but the app doesn't allow it. The one thing JBL did get right is spatial sound. I have no complaints here. That is the one feature that helped me in gaming. These are ok to wear for extended periods of time. I wear them for 8-12 hours sometimes. They don't hurt or anything, but they don't stay where you adjust them either.

These are my first gaming pair from JBL. I was expecting a lot better from them. I have a pair or daily JBL for music that I LOVE. However these JBL Quantum headphones have a very cheap feel ear padding, they slide my head VERY easily. So if you have a small head, these aren’t for you. The sound quality is good, I give it a 7/10. They disconnect, RANDOMLY. Overall, I wish I could return them but I am out of time.

Worth Every Penny and then Some!!!

I bought these thinking they might not be able to live up to the price tag. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the sound emanating from this headset is simply wonderful. I am a pretty old dude that enjoys gaming as much as a 18 year old college student on break. That being said, knowing what direction my opponents are approaching from and being able to have a distinct advantage such as that, makes my gameplay all the better. I am not a fan of the inline DAC with volume control but, when you buy this level of gear, there are some items that you learn to work around. The sound makes up for the little control knob sitting on my desk. Buy these things when they are in stock as they rarely last. Wonderful product worth every penny!

Would never recommend or ever buy JBL again.

Don't buy unless you want to experience bad audio, no ergonomics and feel like your head is trapped in a bag. Where do I even start with this thing. First of all, it sounds like static half of the time, I downloaded drivers, switched ports, everything, the static wont go away. The microphone is barely decent. The headphone itself is very tight and feels like it sticks to your head in a very uncomfortable way. I should have listened to the other reviews. These headphones are terrible.

I bought this one a good sale for Black Friday and I expected it to be better than what it is. Like listening to songs with a lot of bass it’s not as bassy as it should be and when using it for Warzone its not very good for that either, my wired apple EarPods from 8yrs ago are better
