Pure Mulberry Silk Oxford Envelope Luxury Pillowcase

This is the first silk pillowcase I have owned. I always thought they would be slippery and uncomfortable. Maybe cheap versions are but this Lilysilk pillowcase is exquisite. It’s beautiful, soft, extremely comfortable and washes well. Though the washing instructions state that this can be machine washed on delicate, I was hesitant to put it in the machine so I hand washed in the sink the first time using Woolite and laid it flat to dry. It worked great. No shrinkage , no color bleeding and didn’t wrinkle up. Since the first washing was successful I made the brave decision to try the machine washing. I placed it in a large laundry bag, cold water, delicate cycle with Woolite and laid it flat to dry. Again, no issues and it came out perfect. I purchased this silk pillowcase for my hair. After many years, I have finally grown out my curly hair. My hair is very long and I was waking up with matted , tangled hair. The last straw for me was when one of the matted, tangles would not pull apart and I had to cut it out. That was awful! I had been reading that if you have curly or delicate hair, that you need to sleep on a silk pillowcase to help save your hair from damage . That was it! I was in search of a silk pillowcase and thank goodness, I found this one. Since I have been sleeping on this Lilysilk case, there have been no more tangles or matted hair. This purchase was worth every penny!
