Print Off the Shoulder Top

Be careful. When it doesn't fit right it isn't attractive. It just looks sloppy. When it does, however, it hangs perfectly, just like the photo. I ordered an XL, because I pay close attention to size charts. I was at the low end of XL and would rather too blousey than too tight in something like this. I have wide shoulders, I hate to be tight. Still, I had to return it. I got the large, my normal size (12/14), and it is absolutely perfect. The bands are kind of a sweatshirt material, thick and heavier. They very much anchor the piece. They are also more gray than they look here. It took me a minute to decide I liked it. The contrast is stark. The fabric of the shirt is VERY light and floaty, almost sheer. Completely unexpected from the photo, but it does create a fantastic look because of the way it drapes from the anchor spots. Very subtle, very fun piece. I paired it with Free People Charmer Utility Pants in Fired Clay and I'm loving the whole look right out of the gate.
