Koen Mid Rise Wide Leg Pants

I love everything about these uber comfortable and flattering pants (I'm 5'8.5" and 155 lbs in a large) except that when ankle cuff cord is cinched, it drags on the ground. A small interior cord to hook the cinching device on would help. Thought of cutting excess, but I want to sometimes wear them loose.

I so wanted to love these pants - the waistband is stretchy and pant material is a dream. I am short with an hourglass shape and thick thighs so these fit like a dream, though for most this probably means they fit a little large. I loved the room in the hips and the material was so lightweight but at 5’0 I found the short length still too long and the width much too wide to be flattering. I would love to see something like this in a “relaxed” fit that isn’t as narrow as the regular Koen pant and not as extreme as this wide leg pant. Had I kept them I also would have liked to see at least one back pocket, but unfortunately they would have required too much work to shorten and weren’t flattering enough to keep. The grey-blue color was lovely. Would also love to see an even shorter inseam. Next time.

The fit of these pants is great, and I love the drawstring on the ankles because I can avoid getting the bottom of them wet when I am outside watering plants or helping my kid at the pool. I work in healthcare and these are perfect for my clinic days because I can move in them but they don’t look wrecked by the end of the day. I usually keep my work clothes kind of separate from my regular life clothes, but these pants bridge the gap. I have two colors and plan to pick up a couple more!

Do not buy these pants! I love the style and the fit; the fabric is pilling in a place where there is likely to be minimal friction, below the waistband but not where the sit bones are. I have owned Prana pants purchased in 2015 that have withstood a trip to Iceland hiking as well as for work that are in superb condition. I expected that the pants would last beyond 4.5 months. I would add a picture to verify my complaint but am not able.

LOVE these pants! They are extremely comfortable, light, nothing tight or binding. Breathable. It's hard to find pants long enough for me at 5'10". I appreciate the Tall inseam option. I wear them w/bottom seam open and draped around my shoes or cinched in for a fun genie-style. Only thing I might add is a single back pocket, just large enough to drop my cell phone into. And offer in more vibrant colors, perhaps.

Got these in a medium short. I am 5’5” and wear a medium 8/10 or 29. Took these to South America and was able to wash and hang dry and they would be ready to wear the next day. They are breathable, sturdy and a perfect fit. Would buy more
