Plus Size Sleeveless Belted Swing Dress

I was immediately drawn to this dress b/c pink and green are my favorite color combination and I've never met a fit & flare dress I didn't love. This was totally my fault but I missed the fact that the dress was polyester and not cotton as some of the previous swing dresses are cotton (which actually have a flare out silhouette). This dress will require a crinoline and not certain it will flare then as the material is soft/silky like. I absolutely love this silhouette but have found inconsistencies w/the designs. When the dress is cotton there has been a difference in the weight of the cotton from one pattern to another, i.e., large pattern rose dress w/blue belt vs small pattern roses dress w/olive green belt. Also have experienced sizing inconsistencies across different patterns of this dress. Quality has been another concern, e.g., black & white stripe swing dress has a seam straight down the front of the dress, its heavy and once again doesn't flare out even w/a crinoline and honestly who wants the extra weight of a crinoline all the time. Consider a substantial weight cotton that will flare on its own and give you the desired silhouette. I hope UV will continue to make this dress but consider better consistency in fit/sizing and fabric. Please don't turn this dress into a polyester option every time, cotton is the winner by far!

I love this dress. My favorite fit and flare silhouette, broad stripes and black and ivory combo. Love these dresses in cotton but realize that wouldn't work well for opposite color stripes and washing the dress so poly works well. So classic but with flare. Please continue to make the swing dress in classic designs. I've purchased almost every one. Good fit but I have found UV to be somewhat inconsistent in sizing. I have to hem the dress (I'm 5'6) but the only thing I would change is having the black stripe at the hem. That seems to "ground" the dress.
