Pleated Cotton Poplin Skirt

This skirt looks really cute on once you size down 1 size to fit. Elastic is not tightly fitted so size accordingly but the problem is it the material collects anything you may wear with it or brush up against. You will need a sticky roller to carry with you. Also it will be high maintenance skirt after washing so I would of had to dry clean it if I don’t want to spend an hour pleating this skirt to its original state but mostly once again I’m just not impressed with Nordstroms delivery process anymore! My clothes which are quite expensive and many, many purchases later show up in a wadded ball wrinkled to high heaven so I have to spend alot of time ironing anything I receive from them these days before I can wear it! I guess if you’re not the one paying for them no one cares! Atleast a wire hanger like dry cleaners or folded nicely in a box would be great compared to just thrown into a bag wadded up! It’s really disappointing after the money we spend there! So I’m returning the skirt as it is a wadded ball of material with fuzz all over it! Was going to take it on vacation but taking time out of my day to return it! Just disappointed!

Summer-weight cotton falls cleanly from the pleats. Elastic at the back waist keeps this skirt casual but also comfortable in hot weather. And there are pockets! I would say it fits slightly looser than true to size, and on 5'4" me, it obviously hits lower than on the pictured model, but still midi and not maxi. Definitely requires pressing or steaming out of the wash unless you really don't care about wrinkles, but it's a solid wardrobe basic.

Skirt is too poofy - makes curvy hips look BIGGER, which is never good!

Love this skirt! The fabric is a soft and fluid, lightweight poplin. Flat front pleats and elastic back waistband flatter. Pockets are great. Runs a little on the larger size in the waist. I'm almost 5'5" and the length hits me a couple of inches above the ankle, longer than the model.

Love this skirt. It will go a lot of places and look put together. Love the quality and style of the Nordstrom brand!
