What it is: A nourishing and soothing lip balm sunscreen with broad-spectrum SPF 30 that helps protect your sensitive lips from the environment.

What it does: Lips are one of the most sun-sensitive parts of your body. This lip balm, made with moisturizing shea butter, helps keep them safe from the sun while also locking in hydration.

How to use: To hydrate and protect lips, apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure.

Great spf lip balm

I’ve been using this for years for outdoor activities. Keeps lip’s moisturized and protected from the sun.

The taste is horrific

I really wanted to love this. The price is good and Goop had a fairly good reputation in the sunscreen department. I tried, I really tried to use this, but after 3 or 4 uses, I had to stop. It has THE most strong chemical flavor..... like, it doesn't go away. As a lifelong lip balm coinesseur, I've tried hundreds of lip balms, flavored, unflavored, some good, some not so good.... but even the not so good ones I've tried, I can still use if I need to. This is the first lip balm I've ever tried that I absolutely couldn't wear. Idk where the acai comes into play, but it definitely isn't in the flavor. Just straight chemical. Gross.

Taste is awful

I bought this because NYTimes Wirecutter reviewed and said this is a terrific lip balm. It may be good but the taste is awful. Hate throwing away a $12 lip balm. So dont make my mistake. Buy a tube of vaseline.

The taste is awful

I agree with the other reviewers who write about the chemical taste. It is bad and therefore after persevering with it for a few times, I had to stop using it. It's the bin for this one I'm afraid.
