Fragrance story: Philosykos is an ode to the entire fig tree. The green freshness of the leaves, the milky flavor of the figs and the density of the white wood. The memory of a Greek summer at Mount Pelion where, to get to the sea, there was a natural grove of wild sun-soaked fig trees to cross. The iconic oval label on the bottle is deeply rooted in Diptyque's story. The thread of inspiration runs from ancient Rome to the fabric designs created during the early days of the Diptyque adventure.
