zipper is a tough one!

Bought this for potential mob dress for July. Zipper is very very hard to zip in two different places. It fits perfectly but when I put on no one can get the zipper up. Took back to Nordstrom and salesgirl said may need to put something waxy on zipper area to smooth it. I’m struggling because for a $600 dress I shouldn’t run into such an issue. Brought it home and will try on again to see if zipper goes up now. Please pass this on to MacDuggal.
