It is with a heavy heart that I have to rate a DY product so low. I’ve been a collector of DY for the past 25 years. Unfortunately since the brand has gone commercial, the quality of their products are not what they once were. The coating they use on their silver products to prevent tarnishing is not what it once was. It used to take YEARS AND YEARS of daily wear before tarnishing became an issue. The chain on this necklace does not have the anti-tarnish coating on it. At the end of the day you’re wearing a tarnished silver chain. For almost $1000 I don’t expect to look like I’m wearing a $10 sterling silver chain from a stand in the mall. For those who may say all sterling silver tarnishes.. when was the last time you saw a sterling silver Tiffany’s necklace or bracelet with tarnish all over it. Unfortunately David Yurman’s products are no longer the quality products they once were

I received this piece as a Christmas gift and it’s beautiful! The perfect everyday day piece. I receive compliments every time I wear it. The sparkle is perfect without being too much. Can wear it everyday with all outfits. If you want you can also switch sides so it’s all silver. Versatile. I have several Yurman pieces and this is one of my favorite! Love that you can chose to wear it shorter or longer.
