Lustre Long Sleeve Midi Dress

I am contemplating wearing this dress to a wedding in October. The dress is very long however it could be easily cut shorter, which is my plan. There’s no hemline. It’s just cut so it would be very easy to shorten it by 4-5 inches and make it more midi length. That would make it less formal. And the under skirt is weirdly short. I love that I can wear a normal bra and not have to struggle with a strapless But I still really love the dress.
