Dixie Scalloped Cutout Cotton Maxi Dress

the dress is very cute, but runs small in the ribcage area. I am a 6-8 medium, do not have a big bust and could not zip it mid-ribcage and up. The material felt really strange, like a smooth fall coat material. It is not light and airy at all. Even if it fit, I would return it due to fabric.

Cute dress but if you have a med chest it may not fit. Zero give. Started with small- did not work! Exchanged for med and barely fit.

I don’t know what happened with this brand, but a few years ago their sizing actually ran a little bit big. I have quite a few older pieces in size XS that fit very comfortable, bordering on slightly loose. Anything I have ordered in XS and sometime Small recently has been way too tight. For reference, I am 5’0” and weigh 101 lbs. I could barely zip this dress closed and my skin popped through the cutouts in the most unflattering way. It was so uncomfortable, I couldn’t imagine wearing it for an entire day. I also just do not think the fabric or overall quality of this dress is very good. This is something that would have cost $40 a few years ago. It is not worth $100 in my opinion.

Love this dress, material not very giving so maybe size up if you are in between sizes, but fits so femininely. Material feels light while also maintaining daytime elegance. Love it so much!
