Ashton Pleated Hem Midi Dress

I am a 14 to 16, XL in nearly every brand (madewell, old navy, pleione, etc) I literally couldn’t get this dress over my hips. Nearly ripped the whole thing when trying to zip. Not to mention the cups for the top are not made for bigger chested girlies (I am a 36DDD). Barely covered a third of my chest. Will be returning.

Dress was very awkward fit. I adjusted the straps as long as they were able to go and the cups still sat above my bust. The dress also had a very odd smell when it arrived. Based on the prices of this dress I expected a lot better. Thankfully I bought it on sale. I returned my purchase.

I’m not sure if this dress has multiple manufacturers or what but this did not run small at all like other reviews mentioned. I am usually a small, sometimes an extra small. The small was too big all around. I returned this dress (small) for an XS and it’s still borderline too large in the waist. The straps, however, are too close together making my shoulders look massive. This wasn’t an issue in the size small. The lining doesn’t go down far enough either so my bare butt can be seen if you look closely. I’m not sure if I’ll be keeping it or not since it would need some alterations. It’s a shame because it’s a very cute dress. The quality of it could be better… This is more like a $50 dress.

I re-ordered the small after the XS was too small. Tight in the hips and body, loose on top.
