The Tragedy of Lord George Eau de Parfum

Wonderful looking bottle—very clean boozy scent. If this were a shaving cream I’d buy everything in stock. It smells like a clean brandy and tonka scented shaving cream with a faintly woodsy dry down. You can wear this for a lot of different occasions… If you like this I’d also recommend checking out other Penhaligon scents (Halfeti, William Penhaligon and Mr. Sam to name a few). I’ve heard some say this reminded them of a more expensive, better bottled Sartorial. I have had both, I disagree with that because the Sartorial dries down Metallic with a slightly powdery smell (and doesn’t have the same barber shop quality about it that Lord George does)… but it’s a fantastic fougere—quite possibly the best I’ve ever come across (Sartorial).
