Perfection

I have a very hard foot to fit in shoes as I have bad bunions with a very narrow ankle (think pie shaped foot). These Paul Green's are one of the few shoes that fit me right out of the box. They are not a "wide" shoe, but the vamp comes up high enough to hide my bunions. In addition, the heel is narrow enough that the shoe stays on my foot when I walk. Usually if the heel area is too wide my foot slips right out of the shoe. These shoes are comfortable, well made, and have a sturdy rubber sole to prevent slipping. Lastly, they don't look like some ugly practical shoe, but have style and grace. I would highly recommend this shoe. I wear a size 7-7.5 and the 7 fit me perfectly. I left this review as I am always searching for a review where someone gives me some information about the fit and style of the shoe - hopes this helps.

uncomfortable seam in vamp

I tried these on in the store and they were so completely comfortable and the leather is very soft. However, there is a seam internally connected to the flap that rubs on the top of my foot, making them uncomfortable to wear for a long period without socks.

Perfection

Red Color: If Mid-Century Modern Was A Shoe

I would have purchased these in black or red but I fell in love with the red and they are unique. I wear them to work with good weather and not too much walking, they are a fashion shoe I want to keep for a long time and not trash with busy work tasks or rain/snow/slush/dirt. Perhaps I will purchase the black as well for tasks requiring rougher wear.

Beautiful Red shoe!

Although this shoe was pointed I was able to get my regular size, this never happens! Fits perfectly, a little narrow at the top but you know it will give a little. It is a gorgeous shoe! Customer service was excellent in that the price was lower after 2 weeks, I called and they credited my account. Wonderful service as always from Nordstrom? The navy is in my cart!

tight across top of foot

The leather seems nice quality, and perhaps they break in, but just trying the shoe in for a few minutes left a painful indent on the side of my foot. It otherwise fit well but was too tight across the top opening. I generally wear a M width but have slightly narrow feet.
