Paramount Max Running Shoe

The Harley-Davidson Fat Boy of the running shoe world: the Saucony Paramount Max. It has a regular fit but is super wide on the outside, giving you a really stable platform. This is a MAX CUSHION shoe made for cruising and recovery runs, think Nike Vomero Premium. There’s a lot of bounce, but it’s not particularly snappy or responsive. Your feet really sink into the cushioning, and the shoe is definitely on the heavier side. They also remind me of skateboard shoes. And from a POV angle… they kind of look like a flounder fish. 😂 But honestly, that’s part of the charm. These are my favourite easy long-run shoes, and I also love wearing them as a lifestyle shoe with wide-leg jeans or pants. They’re basically pillows for your feet.

Simply amazing! These shoes fit me perfectly, and they provide the max cushion that I require. I highly recommend this to anyone that loves the feel of well designed max cushion shoes. One small thing of note: After 2 weeks of walking 2-5 miles per day, I noticed what could be some abnormal wear in the heels (see pictures). I will contact Saucony support to see if I should be worried. Overall - Highly recommended!!!

Good for relaxed runs moderate tempo soft and plush I think it’s very good for recovery runs and slower pace runs I’m 260lbs and I like them but I don’t run over 6mph on the treadmill with them I do like 4-5 mph and there good

By far the best max cushion shoe out there. Im a walker not a runner. These are much more stable than the Vomero Plus and Vomero Premium and softer than the Aero Burst. They are wider than the pegasus Premium. If you are wanting max protection for your feet and joints, look no further. Saucony has the best lineup these days. Also love the Hurricane, but this is my fave. Need more colorways. Person that gave the bad review must work for Reebok or something!

I wanted to love these shoes, but I decided to return them. The front of the shoes are so wide I felt like a clown. This model would work better for people with wide feet. For the price of the shoes the details were not on point. The black trim was not clean and in spots went onto the silver. The comfort and stability is there, but the fine details could have been better.

These shoes are very comfortable and extremely well constructed The toe box is very big And that's great for a person tends to get ingrown toenails. If I have one criticism of the shoe It is the limited amount of colors the shoe comes in. Certainly would’ve purchased a second pair right now if there was a red or some sharp blues available
