Palomera Canvas Espadrille Wedges

I admit I was a little skeptical. Some of my old favorite, oh so comfortable wedges and slingbacks had fallen apart on me, so I had new cute summer clothes but no shoes to pair them with! Viscata popped up on my Instagram feed. I've been burned trying new clothing/shoe companies that I come across online, and according to the sizing chart my size would be quite different from my usual. I'd also never worn espadrilles before. But the Viscata styles looked beautiful and elegant, not clunky and bad-boho-chic. So I ordered five pairs and promised myself I'd return half of them, if I liked any at all. Well, I'm a convert and ended up keeping every single pair. The fabric colors are gorgeous, the cut of the shoes stylish. They fit true to size based on their chart, even after time outside on a sunny afternoon. They're incredibly light on my feet. And I can walk in the heeled styles comfortably! (Including across bumpy fields and gravel paths to get to a company picnic.) One shoe came with a dark spot on the jute but this didn't bother me nearly enough to want to return them.
