Palerma Pointed Toe Kitten Heel Slingback Pump (Women)

I'm a sucker for a pointed toe and for anything emerald, so when I saw this shoe, and with such a low heel, I had to get it. My mom boasted about Bruno Magli as THE go to brand of her adolescent and early 20s and she was delighted to see it make a come back, so I had high hopes on the comfort. I wore these once to literally run some quick errands, under two hours. There was very minimal walking -- to and from the market, gas station, etc. -- but when I got home and took off the shoes, I had one large blister on a pinky toe, and the threat of other blisters with reddening skin on the toe pads of both feet. I'm hoping this is just the "break-in" period, but to be honest, I never have had to break in good shoes. They're usually perfect from the get-go so I'm possibly stuck with a gorgeous pair of painful kitten heels (and as someone who only wears 3-4 inch heels on a daily, this is saying a lot). I might try and get them stretched but I think I'll be returning the other color I got.

These shoes are classic and well made, though for me they ran small. Fortunately, based on other reviews, I ordered a half size larger than my usual 10. The 10.5 was even a little tight but I think I can stretch them out. They are a pretty color of dark green, though I wish they were a little lighter green as it's hard to see the true color due to the darkness of the shade.
